Dawsons in Poland

Przemek and Maria were baptised today in Poznan. We still have ice on the lake here and no baptistry in Gniezno and so it was a trip to Poznan again with the whole church. We are looking forward to when the church building is finished and we can have our first baptism in Gniezno. Irek spoke of his dream that every week we will have to anounce in church that we have prayer meeting on Wednesday, Bible Study on Thursday and Baptism meeting on Saturday! Already the next baptism is in the planning. Jarek, a young guy from the homeless shelter wants to be baptised in May.
Darek, one of the elders in the Gniezno church slipped fell into the baptistry today, something I have never seen before. He had a suit on and video camera in his hand which was borrowed from the school that he works at. He had no spare clothes but was rescued by Grzegorz Wojno with a spare suit just a few minutes before his sermon. The camera is not working now.
